StAnza: Scotland's International Poetry Festival is held at St Andrews every March. Over five action-packed days, over 50 world-class poets take part in more than 60 events, at the Byre Theatre, the festival's lively hub, and at other atmospheric venues in St Andrews. During StAnza, poetry is celebrated in all its forms and a host of writers, actors, musicians, film-makers and artists complement the poetry programme. There is plenty for everyone at StAnza: poetry breakfasts, lunchtime cabaret, poetry theatre, open mics, masterclasses, weekend children's events, art exhibitions and more. StAnza 2010 runs from 17-21 March and features: Seamus Heaney, Moniza Alvi, Don Paterson, Linton Kwesi Johnson, Shane Koyczan, Vicki Feaver, Dennis O'Driscoll, Jen Hadfield, Matthew Sweeney, Douglas Dunn.
