SIZZLING IN THE DRIZZLE AT THE OPEN IN ST ANDREWS
ON THE first day of competition for the Open Championship at the Home of Golf, the weather was forgotten as player after player produced shots that sizzled onto the greens. Out in front with an amazing nine under par score is Northern Ireland sensation Rory McIlroy (pictured today), two ahead of South African Louis Oosthuizen.
